Nvidia bags the top spot on the Forbes list of 'America's Best Employers', with over 60 evaluation criteria covering financial performance, customer and employee satisfaction, sustainability, remote work policies, and more. Unlike industry-specific rankings, tech giant Google's parent company Alphabet takes second place, followed by tax and finance software company Intuit at third, Microsoft at fifth, and a surprising drop for Apple to outside the top ten at eleventh place. Nvidia also becomes the first semiconductor electronics company to clinch the top spot on the list. With only 23,358 employees, Nvidia's market capitalization of $3.48 trillion underscores the remarkable value generated per employee.

Forbes reported that Nvidia leads in many indicators, especially in employee satisfaction, career development opportunities, company benefits and culture, as well as solid financial strength, all of which have received high ratings. About 2,000 listed companies are eligible for this ranking, with 300 making the list.
Nvidia employee experience vice president Beau Davidson told Forbes that Nvidia listens to employees in a systematic way, including quarterly surveys, CEO Q&A, and virtual suggestion box, and then provides snacks, coffee, and other benefits in response to feedback.
NVIDIA also sets two days off in each quarter and the whole company will be closed, allowing everyone to rest. The company also provides internal training and consultants for employees to plan their future careers.
According to Forbes' data survey company People Data Labs, Nvidia's employee turnover rate is low, widely regarded as a symbol of a happy company.
