CESS: The Decentralization Storage Innovator of the Web3 Era
CESS: Innovative Decentralization Storage Infrastructure
With the arrival of the Web3 era, decentralized storage networks have gradually become the focus of attention. Although traditional decentralized storage technologies perform excellently in file storage, they may encounter performance and speed bottlenecks in dApps applications, especially during file reading. To address this challenge, CESS has emerged.
CESS is a physical infrastructure network consisting of three layers of functions:
Public Chain Layer: Developed based on Substrate, integrating the EVM Pallet module, capable of seamlessly running Ethereum smart contracts.
Storage Layer: Decentralization cloud storage system, responsible for storing file content. After encryption, sharding, and redundancy processing, files are randomly assigned to storage nodes.
Content Distribution Layer ( DCDN ): Planned for release in 2025, it aggregates and caches data shards from the user's nearest edge node using CDN technology to improve access speed and reduce transaction costs.
The decentralization features of the CESS network are mainly reflected in:
Decentralization Node Network: includes consensus nodes, storage nodes, cache nodes, and retrieval nodes, participating in network operations in a distributed manner.
Reputation Rotation Consensus ( R²S ): An innovative consensus mechanism where validating nodes rotate at the beginning of each epoch.
Multi-copy recoverable storage proof ( PoDR² ): Ensure multi-copy storage of files and timely recovery.
Proof of Idle Space ( PoIS ): By generating a set of idle files and space proofs, incentivizing storage nodes to provide more storage space.
Proxy Re-Encryption Technology ( PReT ): Achieving secure data sharing.
CESS has currently launched multiple products:
The advantages of CESS include: high Decentralization, strong security and privacy protection, efficient file reading, innovative consensus algorithms, etc. In addition, the CESS team consists of experienced entrepreneurs and technical experts, ensuring stable project development. Based on Substrate but compatible with EVM, CESS has good ecological compatibility and interoperability.
As a comprehensive infrastructure integrating public chains, Decentralization storage, and content distribution, CESS provides a vast development space for Web3 applications. Although no tokens have been issued yet, the CESS ecosystem has already taken shape, laying the foundation for rapid development in the future.
