Walrus announced a collaboration with FLock.io to promote Decentralization and privacy-protected AI training.
Deep Tide TechFlow news, on July 31, the blockchain storage protocol Walrus Protocol built on Sui announced a partnership with the decentralized AI training platform FLock.io. FLock.io has chosen to utilize Walrus as its core data infrastructure, building a secure and privacy-focused AI model development environment within the Sui ecosystem.
The initial focus of the collaboration is to strengthen FLock.io's FL Alliance through Walrus and SEAL. Walrus is responsible for the decentralized broadcasting and storage of model parameters and training results for federated learning nodes. SEAL is a decentralized confidential management system that ensures only verified alliance members can access or contribute encrypted gradients and data, thus achieving access control and data confidentiality.
In the future, both parties will promote the creation of a true intelligent agent AI experience on Sui. The next phase will focus on fine-tuning an open-source foundational model to adapt to the intelligent agent interaction goals in the Sui environment. The ultimate goal is to launch a Copilot prototype for the Sui Blockchain, capable of generating Move native code, assisting with smart contracts, and having context-aware intelligent reasoning capabilities.
According to reports, Walrus is a next-generation storage protocol designed for AI Agents, on-chain applications, and enterprises dealing with large-scale unstructured data. As a global data infrastructure for on-chain developers, Walrus has been online for more than three months and has already hosted over 800+ TB of encoded data and 14 million blobs, supporting hundreds of projects built on it.
