The Bitcoin market has recently shown complex dynamics. On July 24, the CME Bitcoin futures market maker contract closed at $119,000, a slight rise of 0.27% compared to the previous trading day. However, the market is also facing some pressure. On July 15, miners dumped 16,000 Bitcoins to the exchange, causing the price to retreat from the $120,000 level to around $118,000, with a daily fluctuation exceeding 2%. Notably, from mid-June to July, large miners holding between 1,000 and 100,000 Bitcoins have reduced their holdings by 3,000 BTC, with total open interest declining from 68,000 to 65,000.

Nevertheless, the cryptocurrency market continues to gain momentum. The US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) has seen significant inflows, totaling $1.17 billion. Among them, the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF and the Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund attracted investments of $448 million and $324 million, respectively.

In terms of corporate holdings, Tesla's Q2 financial report shows that its holdings of Bitcoin have risen to a value of $1.2 billion, an increase of 30% from before. Starting next year, Tesla will adopt the 'fair value' accounting method, which means that the rise in Bitcoin prices will be more directly reflected in the company's financial statements.

In the futures market, as of July 3rd, the closing price of the Bitcoin futures contract for July 2025 was $110,415.00, with an opening price of $110,240.00, and the trading range for the day was $107,865 - $110,385. The contract size is 5 BTC, with a rise of 88.78% over the past year, and it will settle on July 25, 2025.

These data reflect the diversification trend of the Bitcoin market, including miner behavior, institutional investment, corporate holdings, and changes in the derivatives market, providing investors and market observers with comprehensive market insights.

Big miners are selling while retail investors are still trading. It's hilarious.
