Jin10 reported on July 19 that on July 18 local time, U.S. President Trump stated that "there may have been five aircraft shot down" during the India-Pakistan conflict this spring. He did not specify which side's aircraft were involved but claimed that "the planes were indeed shot down, four or five, I believe it was five." Previously, Pakistan claimed to have shot down five Indian aircraft, while India stated it brought down several Pakistani planes; however, Pakistan denied losing any aircraft but admitted that its air force base was attacked.
