Robinhood acquires WonderFi for 250 million USD
Robinhood has just announced on its official website the acquisition of the Canadian cryptocurrency platform, WonderFi. The price per share is 0.36 CAD, with a total value of 250 million CAD, approximately 41% higher than the closing price on May 12.
After the transaction is completed, WonderFi will be integrated into Robinhood Crypto, continuing to operate and helping the team accelerate the expansion into the Canadian market. The transaction is expected to be completed in the second half of 2025.
