Update

Hedera will discontinue support for MyHbarWallet gRPC-Web proxy servers for the mainnet, testnet, and preview on June 2. From this date, browser-based decentralized applications (dApps) that rely on these proxies must switch to alternative connection methods to maintain functionality.

This change is accompanied by an update to the JavaScript SDK, which will no longer support the deprecated proxy architecture. Developers are advised to adapt their applications in advance to avoid disruptions in service.

Information about HBAR

Hedera (HBAR) is a decentralized public network that allows individuals and companies to create powerful decentralized applications (dApps). The native cryptocurrency HBAR is used to support decentralized applications, create peer-to-peer payment and micropayment business models, as well as protect the network from malicious actors.

Hedera differs from other blockchain technologies by using hashgraph consensus, which fully realizes the advantages of blockchain — decentralization and security through hashing — with increased speed, efficiency, and scalability. This technology allows Hedera to process thousands of transactions per second, unlike traditional blockchains, making it an attractive option for corporate use.
